So here it is; my first international publication o_o

This is a book titled "Investing in Values: Tales for Children", published by IXE, a finantial group from my country that also has a publishing division. The book includes several tales illustrated by a different artist each.

The intention of this book is to instill values to children through these tales. IXE first called for writters to write these stories, and from those that got selected, then the group called for illustrators to illustrate them. This was a non-profit project, so those of us who participated, volunteered for it. I sent my application to the very last minute, in fact, by the time I did, the convocatory was already closed, so it was a big surprise that I got in! :P

It was really fun, even if I didn't get paid, it left me with great satisfaction. My friend *SiliceB (who was the one who told me about the convocatory) participated as well!

My copies arrived a few days ago, the book looks so nice! I still don't know exactly how you can get one, but I know it will be sold in various cities across the country (like Monterrey and Mexico, DF) as well as in Colombia, Argentina, Spain and Germany.

Not bad for being my first publication huh?
