Mr. Tumnus 2005 vs 2012by ^Thiefoworld

Inspired by the Draw this again Contest, I went back to some of my favourite, oldest (and most embarrasing

) drawings and re-drew them. I'm still working on some of them, and I'll show you them as soon as I finish, but wanted to show you this one, being one of my most favourite so far.

My deviation Mr. Tumnus, was for quite some time my favourite piece from my gallery and also at the time, the most detailed. I go back and see it now and of course I want to cry! XD But still carries a lot of sentimental meaning to me. From the start it was the drawing I wanted to redo with the most eagerness and it was actually my first option for the contest, but I wasn't sure if fanart was allowed

The contest is over now, and being a volunteer I wasn't elegible to win anyway, but it was nice finally having the time to do it, even if just for fun.

My style isn't perfect, but I'm quite satisfied with how it is right now, and it encourages me greatly to see how much I've improved over the years, it pushes me to keep practicing and learning
