This was my entry for a comic con mascot contest in my country.

I never sent it :B so I'll never know XD

There was a point while working on this when I hated it, a phase I go through with all my drawings I guess :D but then looking at it after some time I think I kinda ended liking it :) so I decided to show it here.

I wanted to name her Pepina de Mar (sea cucumber) but at the end I went for Sanomi, inspired by the song of the same name by Urban Trad.

Wanna hear something funny? The contest was a complete failure, the "winner" was a stolen mascot, traced from pixiv. When everybody complained the judges simply said "Well, we liked it! There's no time to change our veredict so we'll use it anyway"

Kinda makes me glad I didn't even enter.
