The easy-to-install version of my Simple Layout

I noticed blue is probably the most popular one, that's why I selected it for this. But if you want to use any of the other colors you can check the original version.

Notes:
To use the titles you have to type <acronym>your title here</acronym>
To use the little box you type <div class="thumbox">your content here</div>

Also remember! You have to be a subscriber to use CSS on journals

Mine is having issues. :( I went to my page to-day only to see a large black space where the top should be (and behind the titles) and in the top space a very large beginning of a link (HTTP://, etc.). I had a friend also go to my page and she sees the same thing.

Yes, one of the images the skin uses is offline now, due the server it was allocated at is no longer online. I'm trying to edit the skin so the problem is fixed permanently,

In the meantime, in the page where you write a new journal entry, look for the option "Edit Skin" This will open the skin code. Search for a text block that begins with .journaltop {
Go to the line background: transparent url("http://ngris.com/thiefo/blanki.gif") repeat-x 0 0; and erase the url and the repeat thing (only leave like this: background: transparent;)

I love this layout, but I have a problem.

I get asked to log into Ngris.com whenever I view my page :ohnoes:

It was fine up until today. Maybe there's a problem with Ngris.com? I'm presuming it's where you host the image files for the layout.

yes ngris is where I hosted the images but it's down now, I have to fix that, sorry for that! when I fix it I'll let you know :D
