Sometimes, when I feel miles away

for the calendar i'm doing, the first month, january so, obviously, this is the first in a serie of twelve hopefully i'll finish it just in time (i hope late november or sooner) so i can print the calendar and send it to my friends this of course will be available as a calendar via deviant store when the 12 illustrations are completed the story behind the illustration this was inspired by the song 'like a child' by jars of clay, but the picture itself was based in this image from the opening ceremony of the 2004 olympics in which the greeks represented the childhood and the future of athens with a kid sailing on a paper boat the other months january - "like a child" by jars of clay february - "taken" by plumb march - "beautiful love" by the afters april - "gravity" by shawn mcdonald may - "must be dreaming" by frou frou june - "tourniquet" by evanescence july - "blind" by lifehouse august - "bad day" by daniel powter september - "disappear" by hoobastank october - "stand up" by superchic[k] november - "breathe you in" by thousand foot krutch december "unison" by bjork cover - "love song for a savior" by jars of clay |
