Rainy Fest + Concurso Cosplay

Welcome to the Summer Fest 2009!

How was it? Let's just say pretty interesting

To tell you the truth I loved it! This time it was on a park, an open venue which you may imagine has its pros and cons, but overall it was good, the only thing I really had against it was the heat XD needless to say my city is pretty hot this time of the year.

The organization this time had a few flaws tho, specially at the beginning, we had to wait almost two hours to start getting together our stands but oh well

not big deal.

~AkireXael and me were on the same stand, and ~Lantra and ~Mizuburi were on one of our sides, and the girls of ~DivaStudio were on the other, it's always something nice to share this kind of events with your friends c:

I had a lot of fun XD and people as always received our work pretty well

After that... comes the fun part XD
You see, as I said, there was a pretty sun over us but then a few clouds appeared and then we had a nice cloudy weather and we went:

... suddenly we were surrounded by fast winds, rain and HAIL!

You can see in the video (sorry for the low-fi, cellphone xD) we were holding our tends because, THEY WERE LITERALLY FLYING AWAY IF WE DIDN'T!! XD
Needless to say, much of us end up soaking wet and the event had to end prematurely.

So yeah, making a Comic Con on an open venue... has it's pros anc cons

But it was fun!

... at least I had fun

La verdad estuvo bien gracioso ver como todos estaban ahi hechos bolas en las carpas y tratando de sostenerlas. El Jeso me comentaba que me iba a ir con una imagen MUY extraña de Chihuahua! XD
