Welcome to Absurd Interviews: Even better than the Spice Girls making a come back
Mmmmm! Do you smell that? It's like a sweet scent of Pina Colada in the air. What must it be? It must be our guest for today!
She's a cool girl who one day got to meet Julia Roberts... though it seems it wasn't a very pleasant experience.
Aaaanyway, since it seems I'm getting more and more lame at introductions, let's go straight to the interview, aye?
Kids! This time I bring you:
Hi Lauren! How are you today? You had your birthday recently how was it?
Hi, Thiefo! My birthday was 99% great! I have had a curse over me for 3 years to have sucky birthdays, the first of which happened in 2009, where I invited 25 people and rented out a whole wine bar...then sheepishly told the manager he might as well let other guests in after 5 people showed up.
When my husband told me he was going to be out of town for this year's birthday, I was sure it was going to be Suck Year Number 4, but all my friends came together and showed me a great time, AND he threw me a surprise party right before he left (even though I thought for the first half that it was a surprise going away party for HIM that everyone forgot to tell me about).
Tell us what you do as a DA admin in 5 words or less...
I make Angelo go places.
Sounds kinky. If you could turn into a vampire and be forever young, what age would you like to have for the rest of eternity?
I've always liked 25. When I imagine myself, I always imagine myself as 25, no matter how much older than that I am. And it's not that much! Sadly, unless there's like a scientist time machine vampire, that probably won't happen
What were you doing 12 hours ago?
I was asleep! Hurr.
So!... it seems you have an unnatural talent to bump into internet celebrities. How do you do it? ಠ_ಠ
First off, I live in Los Angeles, where you're constantly walking past people who you can't figure out if they're friends you've lost touch with or B-list celebrities. Then, I go on planes a lot, and celebs gots to travel! I don't get as nervous for the lesser celebrities, because I feel they are still happy with the fame. When it's someone super popular, I get all mopey and worry that I'd be bothering them. This is because Julia Roberts was once real rude to me when I was younger. "America's Sweetheart" my great aunt fanny!
So you play video games? Any games you've been playing recently?
Yesterday, I played Walking Dead by Telltale Games all day because I'm too scared to play at night, and now I want ALL THE EPISODES. Before that, I played Mass Effect 3, Fallout 3, and Bioshock 1. I like games with a nice story that's not all about the shoot-em-ups. I am bad at shoot-em-ups.
Me too. If you could have any item from any game in real life, what would that be?
MAN, what should I GET? A phoenix down? A Portal gun? I'm gonna go wiiiiith METROID SUIT.
Are you the type of person who have their workspace always clean and neat or are you more of the messy type?
My desk is organized chaos. People should not leave things on it. I throw unidentified desk objects in the trash.
Yeah I do that all the time as well, just not only with things on my desk.... What brand of shampoo do you use?
I like Coconut Suave Shampoo and Lime Conditioner, so it's like a Piña Colada on my head!
Oh look at the hour! It's time to go. Thank you so much for your time Lauren. Now give us a farewell message!
Thank YOU for coming up with such great questions!
My farewell message is: Be good to nice people. RSVP to things, even if you think saying no will make the other person sad. Reply to emails. It literally takes one minute. Seriously. I know you read it. Pet kitties (unless doing so results in you not replying to an email). Naps are okay. Stand up for yourself. Find adventure.
