45 (who?)
Dia de Muertos (Nov. 2nd) is a traditional day originated in Mexico in which people gather and remember and honor friends and family members who have died. No matter the country of origin, death is a source of inspiration for many artists around the globe, who create amazing masterpieces showing that death can also be beautiful. This is a small collection of some of them.

One of the richest traditions of Mexicans.
Mix of old European cultural traditions brought in by the Spanish conquistadors and enriched in the cult of Lady of the Dead of the Aztecs, "Mictecacihuatl".
This tradition is also rich in variety, as each town and region give it a special touch. [link]

I love how positive the Día de los Muertos is. Death is just natural, so why cry if you can make such a nice celebration out of it instead? Those colors are so pretty. :3
