Urbex #2Urban Exploration is the exploration of man-made structures. Usually these are abandoned ruins, or components that used to be part of everyday life but are no longer seen on a regular basis by the human eye. Celebrating Diversity #13In this issue of Celebrating Diversity, I would like to remind you of an amazing feeling...when you see a piece of art created in a medium or genre that you have little or no experience of working in, and it feels like you're witnessing something magical, something beyond your comprehension.
It's wonderful to revel in the joy of How do they do that? and find inspiration in the creations of other artists. So I challenge you to take a step outside of the galleries that you regularly browse and immerse yourself in the experience of indulging in something new.

Celebrating Diversity #1Welcome to this new series of Art Features! Even tho most of you are aware of the many many galleries and categories here on dA, I think most of us move in a sort of "comfort zone" between Galleries, Channels or Groups that provide us with a constant flow of new art. And sometimes we forget all the other great artforms, styles and media that are out of our "comfort zone". And today I want to step out of that warm and cuddly place and feature some awesome works from places on dA I don't usually visit!

Celebrating Diversity #12This edition of Celebrating Diversity I want to focus on two extremes of art: Extremely detailed and realistic works and minimal and abstract art. Both tendencies or trends have their place and time in art and history and are appreciated by many people. Not always does one person like both, but to me personally, art has always been more about feeling, than about complexity. Something simple can touch me emotionally as well as something blasting with details. Art is just as individual as every human being! :heart:

As usual, here are the current going on in the community regarding Digital Art. I want to remind you all that if you have any activity, contest, series of articles, chat events, etc. anything you want me to promote here, don't hesitate to tell me!
There is no volunteer for 3D Art!? What do we do now?
First than anything, let's give a warm farewell to the volunteers who have stepped down from the team recently: `ditto9, `DpressedSoul, `DemonMathiel, `StamatisGR and `WillowXD :heart:
As you can see, one of them is `WillowXD who until recently, took care of the Game Development Art and Digital Art > 3D, meaning we don't currently have somebody taking care of 3D Art. Who do you send your 3D suggestions to then? For the time being, please address your suggestions to $Moonbeam13 in the meantime a new volunteer is selected.
