What I like about Rulo's work is how fresh it is, there's always so many dynamism in his illustrations, a sense of movement and speed, which I think many of you will agree, are difficult to achieve, however Rulo makes it look like a piece of cake. I also love how his lines are never perfect, his colors are not blinding bright and the characters aren't impossibly beautiful. His work doesn't look artificial or over planned.
Raul has been working for the comic industry professionally for some time by know. He has worked for big companies such as Marvel, DC Comics, EA Entertainment, Dark Horse, Les Humanoïndes Associés, Glénat and Norma Editorial, as a colorist and author of his original story La Danza de la Conquista and most recently, his webcomic Tinkers of the Wasteland (currently being published in english, spanish and french)
However, despite the professional experience the man has which may make you think he's one of those unreachable comic artists, obscure and serious, if you get to treat him you'll discover he's a pretty cool, relaxed guy, always joking and being friendly on Twitter, his Youtube channel and of course, his DA gallery.
