Why you should watch ladytwigletI met Donna some time ago, when (I don't know how) she started watching me. At the time I was still a n00b in so many aspects and surprised me greatly to see a senior watching me. WAT? What did I do?
I still to this day don't talk with her that much. HOWEVER, from the little interaction I've had with her I can see she's not only an incredible photographer, but also a very easy going person, different from the rest. Maybe because I'm not a photographer and I tend to think photographers are more "serious" than cartoonists, or maybe because unconsciously I feel intimidated by the quality of her work, but it surprised me to see how down to earth she is, fun and weird (in the best way possible). You just need to look at her ID to see why. Yes, a senior is watching me, but I discovered soon enough she was not as I expected.

I've known ~Fernosaur for a few years by now. Despite what you can see in his profile saying he has been a deviant for barely a few months, he actually has been here for over 7 years with his previous account, ~Penril
During all these years I've seen his art evolve, acquiring great quality, comparable with professionals in the digital illustration industry. Even so, his friendly and sometimes even silly approach to his followers is always evident and its something that hasn't changed; joking, teasing and flirting... he's a big goof.
His style is very recognizable without being monotone or boring. Even with the great quality of his work, it surprises me the very few attention it receives; this feature is intended to contribute to change that.

Winter Expo 2012: Invitation to ArtistsThe Fusion Anime group is proud to invite artists from all over the world to participate in the WINTER EXPO 2012 as part of the WINTER FEST 2012 to be held next December 1st and 2nd in Mexico.
Winter Fest is the biggest even in the city of Chihuahua, MEX focused on comics, anime, gaming and general nerdyness. It's celebrated since 2008 counting with an ever growing assistance of around 6,000 during 3 days.
During the event there's also an art exposition showcasing the work of both amateur and professional artists from around the globe. We've had the honor to count with the participation of artists such as =elsevilla, *el-grimlock, `chutkat, `cocinando-colores, `majnouna, `Atramina, ^KasumiCR and a lot others in past years.

Why you should watch SaiyaGina

I don't know you, but I watch a lot of awesome people. Some of them are insanely talented artists whose artworks can leave you breathless. Others are incredibly friendly and always have something nice to say. Others are worth watching for other reasons.

The point is that I so wish a lot of you watched them just for being amazing.

With that in mind today I start with these feature articles that, (unlike others which only contain a bunch of thumbnails) will give you a good reason why you should add the featured artist to your watchlist.

As mentioned, the reasons why I select them to be featured will be diverse; some of them will be what I consider underappreciated, some of them will be already "famous", others will be here for being a great inspiration community-wise, etc.

And so, to open these articles, I decided to feature a great friend of mine for some years by now, who I consider one of the most talented artists I can consider my friend: =SaiyaGina

Gina's work is always a pleasure to see, whether you're a fan of Anime & Manga or not. Her colorful style always catch my attention from the preview and it's difficult to don't stare at them for a long time in fullview, getting yourself immersed in the details.

Even when her strong point is of course, Anime, she has shown versatility in styles and themes, from well known fandoms to original and interesting designs with often funny and absurd results.
