What is Sketchmatch™?

Sketchmatch™ is a very simple but fun game, in which you'll be prompted to make a drawing with a specific theme.  The catch is that...

The themes could go from drawing a cat, to drawing your favourite vacations, to drawing Pyramid Head! Here are some examples:

How does it work?

• We gather

  
  We'll see you at our official chatroom, communityrelations, next August 7th at 6:00 PM PDT

• We give the theme

  
  Once everybody's ready, we set the theme. From that very moment you'll now have 10 minutes to draw your entry!

• You draw! and fast!

  
  You can use Muro™ to create your entry, or you can use Photoshop™ or the digital software of your preference. It's up to you!

• Time's up!

  
  After the 10 minutes have passed, the game ends! Stop drawing!

• Share your creation!

  
  It's now time to post your beautiful creation! Yup! Even if it's unfinished. Submit it to either your Sta.sh or your gallery. Then post the link in the chat so the others can see it.  

• We laugh!

  
  Finally we friendly laugh at each other's entries! The idea of this is to have fun and its also a great practice! The time limit really pushes you to be quick, challenges your creativity and in the process, lets you know other great artists!

• You win!

  
  The most amazing, creative, funny or just plain ridiculous entries of each round will win a premium membership! There will be five 3-month Premium Memberships in total for grabs!

But wait! Only 10 minutes?

• Yes! Sketchmatch™ is not about creating great masterpieces,   you only have 10 minutes! Be fast! Be creative! and most importantly: have fun! Don't worry, all the others will do crap too! :D
• It's not only about great digital artists and you don't need a tablet to participate, everybody is invited! Even if you think you can't draw. Use stick figures! We love them!
• Sketchmatch™ it's not about who draws best, it's a lighthearted activity. The most creative entries are always the most applauded over the most technically well done.
